DEATH EXPERIENCES


Various systems of esoteric work are here on Earth to teach us psychological thinking, and work-aims, and eventually, if lived, to organize the psychological person in us whom life does not organize. The Gurdjieff-Ouspensky esoteric system is one of these.  Another is the Search For God corpus of the Edgar Cayce readings and the study groups that are organized globally to work with the lessons therein.

A balanced person, in a 'work sense' must have both sensual and psychological thinking. Also he/she must try to perfect both as is possible to him or her.  Throughout life one must work in both directions. Unless one does, a person becomes one-sided in either one way or the other.

Briefly, one way relates a person to the world, the other to higher centers.  We have to understand that sensual thinking cannot relate us to higher centers or lead to the organization of the psychological person.
