As you may have noticed, The Hutton Commentaries has absolutely NO third-party advertising on the website. We do this to ensure our readers that the research that we publish has the highest integrity that we can provide, untainted by the whims of some corporate board of directors, or the sensibilities of an advertiser. However, our no-advertising policy means that we are 100% dependent on our readers and subscribers to provide us with funding. Everything that you give, both large and small, helps! The Hutton Commentaries Inc. (THC) is a nonprofit, public-benefit, educational organization based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. THC is a tax-deductible successor organization to a for-profit organization, Environmental Research Associates, that had started research and web-publication in 1999. In 2006, THC re-incorporated as a "non-profit" in the Commonwealth of Virginia for the purpose of carrying out scientific evaluations of psychic assertions about geophysical phenomena.
Our corporation’s research activities are carried out with the intention of improving understanding of ourselves as discerning human beings. THC and its members seek to determine the truth or falsity of information from psychic sources claiming to reveal past, present, or future geophysical events. No other organization controls or directs THC’s activities.
We rely on donations and bequests from individuals, charitable institutions, and the business community. Every contribution helps. Donations are tax-deductible, as THC has been granted official tax exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code from the United States Internal Revenue Service.*
Activities of THC's research group that were accomplished prior to incorporation as a non-profit organization include:
- Publication of a major, 527-page book, entitled “Earth’s Catastrophic Past And Future – A scientific analysis of information channeled by Edgar Cayce.”
- Implementation of a web site, “The Hutton Commentaries,” as a vehicle for public (and subscriber) education relative to our ongoing research findings about a coming pole shift and Earth changes predicted by various psychics. This has resulted in over 600 bulletins and 150 articles since 1999. We have also presented lectures and seminars at events sponsored by the Association For Research and Enlightenment and other groups.
- Field research at Bimini, Bahamas, to research statements made in the Edgar Cayce psychic readings to the effect that Bimini is the highest remaining portion of the lost continent of legendary Atlantis. This has involved construction of a satellite map of the Bimini area, THC's conducting marine-magnetic and geochemical surveys of portions of the Bimini environment.
THC needs funds to support ongoing field research activities in scientific areas such as geology, geophysics, and oceanography. And we intend to conduct psychological evaluations of newly discovered persons of psychic ability, with special emphasis upon individuals who can transmit information originating from what can be called the spiritual realm of esoteric knowledge.
Funding is also needed to finance participation in scientific conferences, information networking with government and private research organizations around the world, public lectures, and video documentary productions.
Today's institutionalized funding process consistently rewards conventional thinkers and works against outsiders whose research starts from a different paradigm. Even rigorous research standards and most carefully wrought data cannot overcome the resistance built into the current research-proposal, peer-review system. Consequently, most work carried out in today's research institutions tends to be traditional, rather than innovative.
At The Hutton Commentaries Inc. we expect to plow fresh ground by expanding applications of the scientific approach to evaluating channeled communications from both past and current psychic sources.
